2 questions, gift for a grand daughter?

can the Fitbit be used without a phone or other device to sync with

will it sync with an IPod?

1)  If under 13, only Ace series trackers can be used, and on a family account with an overseeing adult with sync device.

2)  Has to sync with something.  Not familiar with Apple line, but am doubtful about IPod.  Needs Apple iOS 13 or higher.

It depends on the version of the iPod that has to be a Touch type, essentially an Iphone without the telephone part.
