Fitbit data not syncing correctly with Cronometer

Fitbit is not syncing properly with Cronometer. It is importing information into Cronometer, but the ACTIVITY information is WRONG - it's now coming in as almost DOUBLE the actual amount.

Cronometer tells me it's a Fitbit issue - so WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED - and WILL WE BE NOTIFIED???? After all, Fitbit does have my email address - hopefully, they use it for things other than selling stuff.

I emailed cronometer's customer service and she said that it is definitely an issue on Fitbit's end and they have not given any timeline as to when the issue will be resolved... So luckily it's on cronometer's radar, but still unknown when it will be fixed.

I just looked at my average Fitbit activity for the month, went into the cronometer app, went to "Targets" under settings, went to "Energy Settings," and then changed my Baseline Activity Level to as close to my average as possible. It's better than nothing and just guessing.

Hey, so it did work for me after this last reply, but as of 9/26/24 it's recording less now... Instead of my average 400 to 600 calories of Fitbit activity, it's now around 80 to 100 calories in a day... It looks like after the day ends, it updates properly, but during the day of it read a very low calorie count.

Yup, mine too - vastly under reporting, where before it was over! From what Cronometer told me, Fitbit DID NOTHING - THEY DID NOT FIX THIS ISSUE... Cronometer made some adjustments, so maybe newer issue is on their end. In any event, I've gone back to not syncing my Fitbit and use the "Moderate" setting through Cronometer because it is the closest setting to what I do in activity.

Our Team worked a solution for this with the new app update.
Please make sure that you have the latest Fitbit app installed (v.4.27)

Please let us know if the issue persists afterwards or if it got solved.
