Why is no one addressing the elephant in the room? Since Fitbit has gone to Google, everything has gone to pot. You can no longer walk without the Fitbit logging it as a run if you do try to log it, It takes steps away from you. Is this way to track your every move? This makes your fitness score go down and unable to keep track of the exercise you are doing.
Sleep score has now gone rubbish and you can’t see detailed sleep like you could before.
I have been a Fitbit customer for 10 years, forgiving them only lasting a year before they break. My next watch will be a Garmin.

Well @Amandapanda12 manually logging a walk, assumes that you where not wearing the tracker, and takes the distance enter and divides by the stride setting. It is possible that your stride setting needs some tunning.
Are you manually starting the walk recording, or letting the tracker decide? Have you checked your exercise settings for walk? Also if you dont run, turn off the Run detect, or any other exercise you dont do. This will make the screen a little more snappy.
