Fitbit pay stopped working

Using a charge 5 and Fitbit pay has been working fine up until today, when I went to pay for my order in the grocery store, having no credit cards or phone with me because Fitbit pay always works. I thought I would be asked to input my pin to the charge 5, and it said I needed to add a card by going to the Fitbit app. I already had a card in the Fitbit app and have been using it. So after explaining to the personnel that I would have to go to my card to get a card to pay for my order, thanks Fitbit, I came back paid for the order, and came home. Home. Now, when trying to add the card to the Fitbit app, it says it's not supported. It's the same card I was using. It is listed in supported banks. What is going on?

I would contact the bank and see if they support the Charge 5 mobile payments.  Just because it's in the wallet doesn't mean that the device has the security clearance yet from the bank for mobile payments.

You think there's a chance that they would just stop out of the blue without notifying customers?
