Fitbit stuck on blinking logo

This morning at 6am I woke up because my Fitbit screen was lighting up with the Fitbit logo. After a few seconds it went off again… then turned on again. Basically a slow blink. It’s 3 hours later and it hasn’t stopped. The screen doesn’t respond to anything and seems frozen in this process, although the moments the logo isn’t showing I can make it appear faster by moving the Fitbit like you usually would to activate the screen. The app doesn’t see the Fitbit, and I tried to force restart via the charging cable but that doesn’t work either. The Fitbit also doesn’t seem to charge (doesn’t “buzz”) when I connect normally, and only responds to the charging cable when I use the button on the cable with a short “buzz” (but nothing on the screen changes).

The battery drained, I put the Fitbit on the charger, and… same thing is happening again. Didn’t even get a second where it was working as it should.

I’ve left a review on a national online shopping site a while ago sharing every single problem with the Charge 5 - voted most helpful review. I’ll be editing it to add this new information 🙂
