I had my charge 5 in the water occasionally over the course of day, from a few seconds to maybe a minute or two at a time. Nothing significant especially since you're supposed to be able to swim with these things.
Now the device screen has been flaking out. It flashes brightly then goes gray. For the first day or two it was intermittent but now it's just gray all the time. The device still charges, syncs and appears to otherwise function. I've tried resetting but that didn't seem to help. Naturally I'm a few months out of warranty.
Suggestions?

Also I tried contacting support but got through all the prompts and entered all the information just to receive a message that support wasn't currently available even though I verified the support hours. So glad Fitbit is under the google umbrella.
