I have had both fitbit charge 4 and charge 5. There were some good improvements with charge 5 however the omission of the button was regressive. If a charge 6 is in the pipeline I suggest that you incude the side button again. A side button is added fuctionality for those who like the simplicity and do not want to keep tapping It is also a better option, than jumpstarting with a cable button, to restart and reset if things go wrong.

Considering that both the Sense 2 and Versa 4 were released last year with physical buttons, there's a chance that the Charge 6 will be released with a physical button. We'll just have to wait until the Charge 6 is announced. Got my fingers crossed that we'll see the announcement later this year.
