Hash marks by the pace numbers?

In my exercise details under pace, there are numbers such as 16‘,23“. I am a carpenter so those marks by the numbers mean feet and inches to me but I assume they are an indicator of minutes and seconds. Am I correct? Please enlighten me lol. Thanks everyone.

Hello @TheFlash80 and welcome to the Community.  Yes, that is pace notation.  That 16’ 23” is minutes and seconds per mile, slightly slower than 4 mph.  Fitbit reports pace, not speed in running, walking and other step based activities.  Two easy conversions are

  • 15’ 00” is 4 mph
  • 20’ 00” is 3 mph
