Heart Rate Variability does not seem accurate on Charge 5

Hi all!

How is your Charge 5 HR variability measurement? I constantly have HRV measurements of around 21 - 30, while I am an active 32-er, with a 'healthy' amount of daily stress.

Looking up this values gives me an expected age of 70 ;).

Thanks!

Hello @SunsetRunner

Mine fluctuate quite a lot depending on what kind of sleep I've had and whether I'm stressed or not.  This week it's ranged between about 32 and 58 (I can only see a week as I don't have Premium).

Reading your post piqued my interest as I didn't know it was connected to age.  I just found a really interesting page about it.  Reading further down they say that even some extremely healthy and fit people have numbers in the 40s.

I'm attaching a link for you in case you haven't seen this one.  Try not to worry as lots of factors can influence it on a daily basis.  They also say looking at the overall trend is important.  I found it fascinating, thank you.

Anyway, here's the link: HRV

I think number 1 to remember is: don't worry!
