Heart Rate accuracy off

I've been wearing an apple watch for the last few years in all my workouts and I decided to move to the Fitbit 5. What I have found in my workouts since I got it last week is it's understating my HR I'd say by 20-30. I made sure it was tight, so I'm not sure what else it could be. I just updated the version to 20001.142.37. I'm really surprised by the inaccuracy.

Ideas?

Unfortunately when it comes to wrist HRM fitness trackers, they are not always going to be accurate. I know with Apple watches, they are being stated they are the more accurate brand out there. Yet in my own experiences/testing with chest HRM and Apple Watch and Fitbit (not the charge 5 yet, just got mine yesterday) they are pretty close for the most part. Apple was always ahead tho. I like Fitbit for the app, more than anything else.

I agree on the Fitbit app, but I wasn't expecting the HRM to be that inaccurate. I was doing a bike workout and it was saying my HR was 109 which I knew was off because I would have expected around 130-135.
