I need a heart rate display during tri exercise. I don't want to see zone information and or GPS or any other messages, just heart rate. Additionally, I don't want to have to tap the screen to get the information and I'd need as large a font as possible. Any help would be appreciated, I can't seem to figure out how to consistently get only HR. Thanks.

Hello & welcome @BLombard
Depending on the type of exercise you do, you should be able to see your heart rate during your workout. However, it will involve some tapping on the screen to get the HR display that you want.
What I found as the best way to track my exercise is to manually start the exercise - swipe to the left twice to get to the Exercise tile & tap. Select the type of workout and tap Start. Once it starts, tap on the screen to scroll through the various metrics associated with the specific workout. One of the metrics should be heart rate. When that appears, continue with your workout. Your heart rate should be in big text and easy to see when you look at your device during your workout. When you are done with your workout, tap Pause, then tap Finish.
