Hi everyone ☺
I've got a charge 5 and it's not detecting my heart rate. I've changed wrists, but still nothing. The little green light on the back work. I've tried reinstalling and restarting the charge.
Any ideas really appreciated, thanks everyone x

Hello @Manda835 ,
Congratulations on getting your new Charge 5.
Maybe the problem with heart rate detection is a setting on your Charge 5.
Can you try scrolling down from the Clock Face screen until you get to Settings? Tap on that, then scroll up until you get to Heart Rate. That should be set to On and show as blue. If it’s grey, tap it until it switches on. Then your heart rate should start working.
I hope that helps a bit to solve your problem.

@Manda835 Do you have tattoos on your wrists? Tattoo ink interferes with the optical heart rate sensor. If you don't have tattoos, it's possible you have a defective device. You can sense your heart rate on places other than your wrist. Try a few other spots -- your thigh, upper arm, etc. If you don't get a reading at all, then I think you should contact Support for more help. Deeply pigmented skin can interfere with heart rate accuracy. But the articles that I read seem to say you should still get a reading, just maybe not accurate.
