Heart rate incorrect when using exercise app on Charge 5

In exercise mode the heart rate keeps climbing higher and higher, sometimes reaching 155 bpm. The exercise machine I am on also takes a heart rate reading and it will show 85 bpm. If I take my pulse manually it will also be in that same range. It doesn't seem to matter which exercise mode I am in - weights, spinning, etc - all exercise modes are doing this. Even if I stop exercising, the heart rate will keep climbing... but my actual heart rate is dropping. The screen on the watch will change to a dash, reset the heart rate and it might drop from 148 to 71 after it comes back on. While I am exercising the only way I have been able to stop the heart rate climb is to remove the watch from my arm, wait a minute, then put it back on... then it might behave itself for a while. I have done a reset on the watch as suggested, yet the heart rate still keeps climbing way above what my actual heart rate it. What is the fix for this? This is a charge 5.

Hello, @catmom47 Welcome to the community!

Thanks for letting me know about this situation with the heart rate when using the exercise mode in your Charge 5.

My best recommendation for you would be resetting the Charge 5 and double check you're wearing it correctly once you have completed the reset.

Sorry for this situation and thanks for your efforts!
