Heart rate while swimming

I thought that the app showed the heart rate as part of the exercise tile for all activities but looking today at last night's swim there is no heart rate data. The other activities do show the info. Is this something that disappeared during the app's upgrade or was it always missing?

Not impressed with the new interface.
