Second time I have sought help from the Chat support folks where the tech I worked with could not solve the problem, and seemed to have no idea what it was.
Turned out it was not particularly complex - the specific information items disappeared from my phone app. What was were the big circle with the number of steps in it and three little circles with a + sign next to them. When I tapped on a circle it went to a page with the information. When the tech said s/he was going to contact an advanced person to get back with me I looked at the circles and the + symbols and decided to see if tapping the + would make any difference. It did. The numbers showed up again. So instead of having only the number of steps showing, I again have steps, distance, calories and zone minutes.
Chat support is batting ZERO.
