High Zone Minute Recommendations

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I keep getting progressively higher recommended zone minutes, my daily rec today was over 196, I think my lowest daily recommendation in 2024 was still over 130. I do achieve the rec number daily and think im moderately active (running, weights and walking)...is the recommended number going to continue to go up or does it eventually plateau? Anyone else have this ever increase number? I've had the Charge 5 for a few years and my recommended minutes stayed pretty much in the 120 to 140 range until the past several months.

My rate have been 81 yesterday, and 87 last Wednesday. Which is high my rate, usually I get a bit less than that but good rates, but not usually that high. I can't remember what number it should be, could anyone tell me?

Still just keeps going up, whether I have "good" or "excellent" readiness.

Hello @Aingano

I've noticed that my recommended AZM will continue to increase as long as I'm meeting or exceeding the suggested goal. The only way that it drops down is when I have days where I don't meet the recommended goal, often a couple of days in a row.

I get it that the AZM recommendation is supposed to continue to challenge a person. But now it seems like it's getting out of hand for you. It makes me wonder if the algorithm has an upper limit.

That's a great question about an upper limit for the algorithm. I looked back and I've had times when I've continued to exceed the minutes and recommended minutes usually plateaus...unlike this time. This is today's (5/7/24) recommendation,
