Hi there, @SamSpoons.

Thanks for getting back with more details. Let me explain the screen you're seeing is called Mobile Run which allows you to track certain activities directly on the Fitbit app. On the other hand, your Charge 5 has the Exercise app which includes around 20 exercises to choose from.

To track an exercise using your tracker, please follow these steps:

  1. On your Charge 5, swipe right or left to the Exercise app, and swipe up to find an exercise.

  2. Tap the exercise to choose it. If the exercise uses GPS, you can wait for the signal to connect, or start the exercise and GPS will connect when a signal is available.
  3. Tap the play icon to begin the exercise or swipe up to adjust the exercise settings.
  4. When you're done with your workout, swipe up and tap Pause then Finish. You'll see your workout summary.
  5. Sync in order to see your details on the Fitbit app.

Hi @SamSpoons, and welcome to the forums.

Thank you for sharing your Feature Suggestion with the Fitbit Community. Let me share the Exercise app already has Bike as an option to track this activity on your Fitbit device. For more information, see this help article.

If you're referring to something different, please reply with more detail or specifics on how this idea would work, or what problem this is trying to solve as this will help us to better understand this request. We look forward to your response.

Hi there, @SamSpoons.

I've moved your posts to the Charge 5 board as it seems this is more a question and not a feature request. Thanks for reviewing the information mentioned before. Our Fitbit devices have a variety of exercises available and the help article shared above will provide you with instructions to use the Exercise app. Once you open this app, scroll down and tap the exercise of your choice (Bike). Then tap the play icon so you can track your activity.

I open the Fitbit app and press the + under Track your exercise.

I then get a local map with Walk at the top which I tap on to see the options - this leads me to the following screen

Exercise Type

Run

Walk
Hike

Run, Walk or Hike but no Bike option.

thanks. Ian
