Not Soo bad in a vehicle but what are some suggestions on driving a forklift on and off throughout the day? Do I just not use while working? Any advice would be very helpful

Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @newcreation517.
Thank you for your inquiry about the Charge 5.
Unfortunately it is an expected device behavior at the moment to count steps during a driving activity. Currently there's not a Driving Mode feature available to prevent the device from counting these extra steps. However, I do recommend that you vote for this idea posted in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community, this is helpful for the team of developers to continue to track popularity and demand over time. Some users have also suggested to connect the device to the charger while driving, as it will stop counting steps.
To delete the extra steps recorded, you would need to manually log the driving activity, to override data tracked during that period of time. As explained here.
Have a great day.
