How to disable kudos

I purchased this device as a sleep tracker.  I have no need to, nor desire to, monitor activity such as steps.  Nevertheless, I am getting persistent, annoying "well done" notifications when I exceed 2400 steps.  Is there any way to disable this?  I have the "move" reminder disabled.  I've searched these boards, the manual, etc., to no avail.

I don't particularly want the device to congratulate me for anything.

To be clear, I am a (rather old) runner.  I log 35+ miles per week, and enter races with some frequency.  I track such activity with a Garmin device.  I don't wear the Fitbit device when running.  The point of such comment is to indicate that I do not need this thing to alert me when I take some number of steps.  My exercise paradigm is sufficient and I have no interest in daily step metrics.

Thank you for your assistance with this.

@SzDoc Hello and welcome! I don't think there's a way to get rid of the "congratulations" entirely, but the one thing I'd suggest is change your step goal to a very high number. If you aren't using the device for steps, then I'd set the step goal at something like 50,000 steps and that way you never actually reach the goal and your device shouldn't congratulate you.

To do this, go to your Fitbit app > Click the profile photo in the upper left hand corner > Select Activity & Wellness > Daily Activity > And then make the steps a very high number.

You could also make it so your goal is something like Floors and you set your floors to 100 or something.

But as far as I know, you can't disable daily goals completely. I hope this helps!

Thanks.  Already tried that.  No joy.
My hypothesis is that the steps counter may reset each day and perhaps tomorrow the recommended remedy will be effective.  Fingers crossed.

Follow up:  Yesterday, after I passed midnight after resetting steps to an unrealistically high number, the notifications ceased.
Yay.
Thanks for the suggestion
