Hi there @Sandyboync!
A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thank you so much for your question about how to factory reset the Charge 5.
If you want to clear all your personal data of your device and start over follow these steps (please be aware that all the data of the device will be erased):
1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
2. Open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data.
3. Swipe up, then press Hold 3 Sec for 3 seconds and release.
4. When you see the Fitbit logo and Charge 5 vibrates, your data is erased.
Can you tell me more about the issue you're having? I'll be very glad to help you solve it.

Hi Fatima, thanks for explaining the process to factory reset my charge 5. Ever since I updated the device, it only holds a few hours of battery whereas I used to get at least 5 days before. So, I am trying to reset and see if I can get some battery life back. I understand battery degradation over time, but 5 days to 5 hours is not gradual, and this happening right after the update is suspicious!

Hello @Sandyboync
Before you do a factory data reset, you might want to consider this option first.
When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery loss, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I saw a rapid drop in battery, I restarted my Charge 5 and put it on the charger until it was back to 100%, often doing this multiple times in a day. Eventually, this process got my device "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for you, it might be worth a try.
