I've been trying to resolve the problem with the Charge 5 discharging quickly. I totally missed that the SPO2 sensor doesn't give a reading after the latest firmware update.
I called today trying to see if I could get a new Charge 5, and the agent confirmed that the battery is draining very quickly by looking at my Fitbit account. He also noticed that I've had chat sessions trying to resolve the problem. Did I get a new Charge 5? Not yet. My case has been sent to the highest level for review, and I will receive an email. I said I hope it's not a canned email giving me the steps to follow. We'll see...

Yeah, I am thinking since my fitbit is only 4 months old that maybe I should buy an Apple product instead. I'm not going to stay with a company that doesn't care about the hand that feeds them. I purchased 3 of these. Mine first and a month later one for my husband and just last month one for my son-in-law. I don't think much of a company that doesn't think much of the people they sell products to.

Today the SPO2 reading is working. What a reliable device with this firmware update... NOT.
