Don’t know if there’s a fix for this but I recently bought the Charge 5 and it never shows that I’m in peak heart rate! The workouts I do are designed to get you in peak and my Charge 3 always shows my peak HR! I used my Charge 5 for a workout then set up my Charge 3 afterwards and it literally changed on the app to show that I was in peak! Just doesn’t make any Cense. I’ve checked all the settings - height, weight etc wondered if there’s something I’m missing?

I have this exact same problem
It seems to measure the lower zones but refuses to give me any minutes in peak when I know it gets that high.
did you ever figure anything out ?

If you get a response please let us know. The heart rate on the Charge 5 is nowhere close to the heart rate from my Polar chest monitor. 110 vs 160. During a rowing machine workout. I know rowing isn't a support exercise but heart rate is heart rate.

Unfortunately not! Fitbit have been unhelpful, I’ve actually gone back to my Charge 3.

There is defo an issue with it. All I was told to do is restart it! Of course it did not solve anything 🙄

Hi, thank you for your replies, and welcome to the new users in the Community, @Oliviaa22 @slayman @Mich22.
In addition to the restart procedure, there are some general recommendations shared in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information. You can also check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.
However, if you already tried all the steps mentioned earlier and you're sill having the same problem with the accuracy of heart rate data, I do recommend that you continue the communication with the Customer Support team and to let them know if the steps that you already tried and were not successful. Click here to get connected.
Thanks again for all the feedback that you've provided about the Charge 5. Please know that all your comments are greatly appreciated and the team is continuously working to improve the quality of products and services.
See you around.
