My Charge 5 suddenly began reporting my sleep respiration rate at 2X normal. After an eternity of nearly straight line 13's, for the last four consecutive nights its reported it as 25. I can't even replicate that awake (approximately 2 full breaths every 5 seconds). Further, I'm a cpap user and my AirSense 10 reports respiration data directly and should be the far more reliable source. It shows no changes. Something is clearly amiss with either the way Fitbit is collecting the related data or the way its algorithm is interpreting it or both.

Hi, @SleepHead73 , welcome, I can only show you this article How do I track breathing rate in the Fitbit app? - Fitbit Help Center which provides a nightly average and carries a number caveats. I know others in the community are better informed than I am, the advice is that consult your medical professional.
Cheers
