Is the readiness score useful?

I have had the charge 5 for about a week and the daily readiness score doesn’t seem to tell me much.  It seems to be driven by active minutes, so if I have an active day (even just walking) it will tell me I’ve had intense activity and I need a rest day. I’ve only ever had very low readiness scores so far.  Does this improve with time or are there any settings I should adjust? Should I ignore it for a while and just do my usual exercise and see if it adjusts?

At the moment it does not appear to be a feature that will add any value if it just constantly tells me to rest!

@cforclair it seems to take at least two weeks to develop a good baseline for your Readiness Scores. I found that it took another week or two after that for my numbers to really start making sense. I would give it more time and, while you wait, stick to your regular activity level, so your future Readiness Scores will be based on reasonable data for you.

My readiness score has been at 100 for weeks!

I am housebound, frequently bed bound and am simply trying to get through a day without going beyond my AT ...
Anyone care to explain the score??

I worked out heavily two days in a row. After yesterday 's training all my muscles hurt and all I want to do is sleep. Yet the readiness score is excellent. It's never lower than good no matter how I feel or what I do. I'm thinking, for a small-framed, low weight woman, premium isn't worth it and my expensive Charge 5 is just an expensive pedometer. I may drop Premium services.

I've had the charge 5 for more than two months. Nothing changes. It's always excellent or good. Definitely not helpful.
