Just purchased a new Fitbit Charge 5. Inmideately, the FitBit app in my Iphone indicated that a new version of the firmware was available. In the app, I was able to press "update tracker". After I hit the button, the app indicated "updating". After that, it looks like it attempting to update but nothing really happens. After a while, the option "update tracker" comes on the screen in my app again. The firmware has not been installed. I kept the tracker next to my Iphone and the tracking was hooked up to my laptop, so it was charged for 100%. What is the issue here?

Having the exact same issues. Brand new out out of the box and I can't maintain a bluetooth connection long enough for it to update. Super frustrating.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Do you have an ad blocker installed on your phone? Sometimes that can interfere with the process. It might be worth switching it off for a minute while you try the update again.
