Hi all

I was actively using the exercise log previous button, but now it is completely greyed out and unselectable. Is there a setting I need to turn back on to use this?

Thankyou

I am having the same issue, and I chatted with several people on the site. I finally got a solution via email but I do not like the answer. Apparently there's an update and you can no longer complete this on the app, you must log into a desktop to complete the log 😞 I let them know this in ineffective as compared with logging directly on the app in real time, but I have yet to receive another response.

Hello,

This is the follow up email regarding your concern about your calories case.

Just to set a proper expectation, there are some features that cant be done through the Fitbit app and can only be done using the fitbit.com dashboard.

Also, when there is an update on the Fitbit app or dashboard some features change or can be removed.

So that you can manually log your activity, follow the steps below:

  1. Login your account on fitbit.com dashboard.
  2. Tap Logs > Activities
  3. Scroll down
  4. Type in the exact time of exercise you're gonna do. For example (Elliptical)
  5. Input your Calories
  6. Tap log

We hope this helps to get you back in working towards your fitness goals. If you have additional questions about your Fitbit device or services, visit https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support.

Sincerely,

To clarify it is the "precise" button on log previous that is no longer selectable. 😞

Thanks.  This is less convenient especially in the gym but it works. I wonder if they will ever bring the feature back in the app. If they don't,  they should remove it vs leaving it there but greyed out.

Thankyou!
