Lost steps Fitbit app

Yesterday my Fitbit app needed updating when this was done it reset my steps from 9235 to 6355.

How do I change them manually?

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this issue with your steps on the Fitbit app. 

If you're still having trouble with the app not showing you the correct step information, please try the following: 

• Log out from the app.
• Restart your phone. 
• Log back in to check if you're able to see the correct information. 
• Try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem. 

In case that you're still not seeing your steps, you can also manually log an activity for a specific period of time to override data recorded and add some extra steps to your stats.
