Your selection of which hand does not affect the display; it does not reverse display based on hand.

The choice of dominant or non-dominant hand is to affect the step count.

To reverse the display swap the wrist bands on the charge 5.  Used to be left or right hand would do that, not anymore.

Hi @Legend007 - I’m not sure if you are asking a question. You are correct. The purpose of setting a dominant wrist is to adjust the sensitivity so as not to under or over count steps. It does not change the display. The easiest way to set your dominant hand is to

  • Open the Fitbit app on your phone
  • Tap Account > Charge 5 > Wrist.
  • Tap your preference then tap “< Charge 5” at the top, left corner. This sets your preference.

As for changing the display, I just checked on my Charge 5 and the process you describe worked for me. Normally, the Fitbit logo on the back should be right side up. If I place it on my wrist upside down (see below), it reverses my screen. At that point, if I want to keep the display that way, I could swap the two parts of the band. Since this does not seem to be working for you, I ask that you try again, and let us know if the problem persists. Thanks!
