Hi team.
Since the new version of the app came out, if I enter exercise manually, I've noticed that the 'calories burned' no longer reflects my heart rate and number of steps (intensity etc) - for example if I enter 'Sport' as 2 1/2 hours, and one day I do 10,000 steps in that time with a high heart rate, or another time as 3,900 steps with a low heart rate, they both "burn" 565 calories, which obviously can't be correct. In the old app, after a few minutes of syncing, it would take all the variables into consideration, and the calorie count would be different.
Has anyone else noticed this or know how to fix it?

Hello @T-Giddy and welcome to the Community. I apologize if I'm misreading what you wrote. It sounds like you are tapping on the green + sign and logging after the fact. This feature will overwrite data that is already on your Fitbit. You should use this ONLY if you weren't wearing your Fitbit at the time. You should use the Exercise app on your Charge 5 with the appropriate exerciser shortcut to get your exercise details.
I don't understand why Fitbit put this option in such a prominent spot on the app. This is a feature I needed on my old Fitbit One and Charge HR, older devices that estimated calorie burn differently.

Hiya.
Thanks fornyour message.
Yes, Im manually adding after the fact if it doesn't pick up my exercise session automatically. In the old app, entering info manually still used all the variables from that time.period after syncing. Im not sure why this isn't still the case with the new app.
