Using Charge 5 and I am getting stats but my walks are not being mapped. Can someone please share exactly what both my phone app settings and what my Charge 5 settings should be? Thanks.

@Singer6319 please reference https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1874.htm
In order to have a GPS map for your walks, you will have to manually start/stop an activity (such as walking) that has GPS enabled, on your tracker. The GPS won't be used for an auto-recognized walk activity. Your tracker can be set to use the internal tracker GPS, your phoe's GPS, or dynamic. Dynamic means it will use your phone if available, and revert to the tracker internal GPS if your phone's GPS isn't available.

Thank you, Charleskn. I appreciate
the help. I do start the walk on the Charge 5 under the exercise option. Then, stop it (Done) and select Finish to end the activity. The GPS is set to Dynamic. Any additional ideas?

Go to your fitbit website dashboard and select the settings gear wheel, and select the settings for your tracker device. Scroll down to the GPS settings and make sure the GPS is on, and you have GPS turned on for the proper activities.
Then go to your walk activity, but instead of starting the walk, at the "Start" prompt, swipe up until you get to the GPS setting and verify the GPS is turned on.
When you start a walk and go to the walk activity, watch the GPS connection notifications above the start arrow. You should see messages about GPS connecting and then GPS connected. Don't start the walk activity until you see GPS connected.
If none of that works, I would try restarting your tracker, and if that doesn't help, I would contact customer service.

Appreciate the detailed steps. Going to test this out over the next few days and report back. Much thanks.

Also ensure that your fitbit app can always access your location in the phone's fitibit app settings.
One final possibility is to make sure the phone's battery settings don't ever put fitbit to sleep when it's in the background.

I've found that by keeping my GPS to dynamic on my device I am able to keep iphone location services set to "while using the app". Before each walk I open the app and keep it running in the background of my phone (hooking the phone to my waistband), start the walk via the exercise icon on my device, and begin the activity, pressing "finish" and "done" at the end. Once my phone syncs with my device the map is displayed with the stats. THANK YOU for help - Fitbit has a supportive community of users.
