Is there a way to get the Fitbit charge 5 to help you set your pace by sending a vibration when you move too slowly or your heart rate goes out of the fat burning zone. I can't seem to find anything but it feels like something I've had on devices in the past?

These are called Heart Zone Notifications. I'm not sure of all the details so you might have to do some experimenting yourself. I think they are every time you change zone and not sure if just a vibration or show you what the change is. And there are 2 types: full time, or just during exercise app.

Hello & welcome @Ausfbit
I haven't tried using the custom heart zone notifications so I can't share my experience using that.
Based on my experience using my Charge 5 during exercising and according to the Charge 5 manual, it will buzz when you reach each heart zone: 1 buzz for Fat Burning, 2 buzzes for Cardio, & 3 buzzes for Peak. I'm usually so engrossed in my workout that I only notice that my Fitbit buzzed but not how many times. There's currently no notification for when you drop below Fat Burning Zone that I've experienced.

Thanks both. I seem to have it all set on but not felt the changing zones.
I'm going to try triggering an exercise deliberately through the exercise app and see if that works.

For anyone coming across this thread. The key thing (well 1/2 the solution) is to make sure you start the exercise app if you want the notifications. However, it doesn't seem to buzz when you slow down only when you go up a zone. So you don't know if you've got lost in thought and slowed down which was what I really wanted. Oh well.
