My Charge 5 Screen is Black

Last night, I noticed that my fitbit charge 5 screen started becoming pixelated but I was still able to navigate between the screens. I plugged it in and tried to reset it through the button on the charging cord. Eventually, the screen turned white and unresponsive. Then it turned black and again unresponsive. The device still vibrates when plugged in or after resetting. It still charges. All of the health factors (steps, heart rate, workouts etc) are still tracked and accurate. The green pulse reader lights are still active.

Same thing here.  Calling Support, because NONE of the their self-help options work.

I contacted support. They had me try to download a new clock design and to reset the watch by holding the reset button for 1 second three times. After neither of those options did anything, the support agent said that the watch has to be sent back to Google.
