I bought a charge 5 to get away from expensive Apple Watches and I’ve owned it for less than 24 hours. Since the first moment I put it on it has been a headache and the customer service was even worse. Every time I look down to check my steps, I am losing steps. I was at 800 early in the morning and dropped to 200. I got back up to 1000 and went for a long walk and my steps showed 656 despite getting a 5000 step badge. Currently my Fitbit dashboard shows that I set a record today with over 10000 steps but if I pull up the app or look at the Fitbit itself it shows I have 6203. I also received an “award for getting over 10k steps but for some reason the app and the charge 5 keeps going down.
when I contacted customer service I received standardized replies and was advised that I have to wait for support to email me. Still no email. I wanted to really give this a shot because of the features and battery life, but ai am ready to return it.
