The purpose of this contact is to document to FITBIT
my total and complete dissatisfaction with their products.
In less than 5 years, 3 FITBIT devices have failed. I will
not own another FITBIT product - I won't waste more money
on them. In Feb 2019 I got a Charge 3 device. In less than
2 years the display became too dim to read. I replaced it
with a Charge 5 device. That device shut down while I was
outdoors and it got 'hot'. I complained to FITBIT and I
received a replacement Charge 5. This device is heat
sensitive as well, but I kept using it. Last Sunday, this
device decided not to recharge. I bought a new cable, I
tried other AC power adapters and I tried using the USB port
on my laptop - I cannot recharge the battery. I'm sure
that FITBIT doesn't care - they sold the devices & made
their profit on them. I'm through with FITBIT; I've ordered
a GARMIN device - perhaps it will be more durable than the
FITBIT products.

I truly understand your situation and thanks for letting me know about this in regards of your experience with Fitbit. I can see you contacted support yesterday and they have provided you info, if you have any other questions or concerns, let them know.
