After I finish doing the stair master, I can see my calories burned are expectedly high. After my heart rate goes down and fitbit automatically logs the exercise in the app (as swimming, which is incorrect, but that's another issue that doesn't really bother me) the calories go down by multiple hundreds. For example, today after finishing my exercise, my calories burned was at 1800, 30 minutes later it went down to around 1100. It has happened a few times now so today I prepared and screen recorded it happening in real time. I'm not sure if I can upload a video here so I put it up on streamable, I hope you can access it.
This is the exercise that the app logs:
If you could assist me with what I can do to fix this problem I would be grateful.
(It is important to note that at the end of the day, so midnight, the calories that were removed before seem to come back, because the end of day calorie burn matches up with what I had burned during my exercise. But it is still a bit of a nuisance to not be aware of my actual calorie burn throughout the day.)
