NO Resting HR on App

The App isnt capturing my resting HR, sometimes doesnt capture sleep or steps?!?!  Restarted phone, force quit the app, sync'd and resync'd the app several times,  turned charge 5 on/off.  On any given day. some measurement isn't displayed on the app. The App used to be rock solid b4 Google was involved.

Hi, @Mbfox7 welcome to the community, it sounds like you have three issues, tracking your resting HR, tracking your sleep & tracking steps. In all likelihood, you have a syncing problem.

May I suggest you review these articles How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help CenterHow do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help CenterHow accurate are Fitbit devices? - Fitbit Help Center & finally Why won't my Fitbit device sync? - Fitbit Help Center

Under normal circumstances your Fitbit app on your phone syncs when you open the app (It needs an internet connection) On waking I usually manually sync the app by sliding my finger down the "Today" screen & releasing (x2) some data needs to be sent to the Fitbit server for analysis before it's returned to me. Some data in the health metrics section takes a little while to return.

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

Hi, since the update, my Charge 5 is syncing, but not populating any sleep, readiness, hourly activity, or health metrics data since Thursday... just steps. I've tried unlinking/relinking Bluetooth, force stop and restarting app and charge 5, . Any other suggestions?

Hi, @CAD202 you should sync your Charge 5 with your Fitbit app & then factory reset the Charge 5 - How to Erase Fitbit Charge 5 (Factory Reset / Clear User Data) - YouTube  Go to the Fitbit app on your phone, clear cache & storage, delete the app, restart your phone & reload the Fitbit app, complete the pairing process - Fitbit Charge 5 Unboxing and Setup (Lunar White / Soft Gold) - YouTube

I hope this helps, let us know how you get on by posting here again.

Cheers
