I've had a Fitbit for many years - I've gone through all the versions and last week I bought the Charge 5. Last night I got NO SLEEP AND NO HR info. It did work for the first 2 days. I track this religiously - I see this is an ongoing problem with many users. I just did the latest update and my HR started registering. Looks like last night's data will be lost forever due to horrible software. Does Fitbit care about putting out bad software? How does Fitbit make this up to its users? Is this because Google bought them? This literally never happened to me before.

By the way, previous to this, I have been a "Fitbit Defender" when everyone told me to get an Apple Watch instead.

Same here, before I had a Charge 4. Worked great till the screen went dark. I thought Charge 5 would be better, wrong.
