Need bands for a really really small wrist

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi! I have a super narrow wrist so the watch face itself covers most of my wrist. Add in the rigid piece at the end of the watch where the band attaches and I end up with unattractive gaps. Is there a band I can purchase that has a small/ narrower attachment end? THANKS

Hi, @Kdubs44 , I also have a very small wrist and I think the issue is mainly the Fitbit itself rather than the band.  The problem is that the rigid part of the device is longer than my wrist so there is always a gap.

Surprisingly, the watch styles work best, with a slim band, because they are more square and less long.  However they do look a little heavy and masculine on a small wrist (but that is apparently the style these days).

If you prefer more a tracker style I would say the Luxe is the most delicate.  Even that one has gaps on my wrist, but only very small ones and I don’t find it uncomfortable or problematic in any way.  I notice you have posted in the Charge 5 forum.  That one is a great tracker, but is not ideal for the smallest wrists whichever band you choose.  Basically the problem is fitting in all the features, and having decent battery life, in a very small space.

That makes sense! And I agree it is the band and how it connects that is the issue, not the watch face. I also considered the Fitbit Sense ( I only want one that has the ECG feature) but that seems to measure larger, but now that I see how the bands work maybe overall it would be a better fit. I'll look again. Thx! (I tried an Apple Watch originally and it was ridiculous on me. )

@Kdubs44  the Fitbit Sense actually fits my small wrist better than the Charge 5, because it is less long and more square, so it doesn’t have the gap problem.  But it does look big on my wrist - as I said, that seems to be the fashion, so no one is surprised to see a small woman wearing such a thing.

I do find, though, that I need to swap out the Sense for the Luxe every week or so at least, because it is quite big and covers most of my wrist and my skin feels like it needs a rest.  That’s why I like the Luxe, though it doesn’t have all the features.

These electronics keep getting smaller though - I am amazed what they can now fit into such a small device.  It changes fast.  So one of these days they are going to have a fully featured one for more petite people!  I’m really looking forward to whatever is the upgrade on the Luxe (Luxe 2 or maybe Inspire 3?).  I’m guessing the Sense watch style is always going to be there for those who like the chunkier look.

Hello @Kdubs44

Just to add an extra point to what @Julia_G  suggested, sometimes a stretchy band can help.

I gave my Charge 4 to my friend who has tiny wrists, and it drowned hers, and I felt terrible seeing it look so big and loose.  I got her a stretchy, adjustable, colorful band and it seems a much better fit (both size and looks).  I'm attaching a link to Amazon to show you the kind of thing...

It might be worth doing a search for them and reading some reviews as that might be a cheaper option than buying a whole new tracker.
