Hi, thank you for sharing your inquiry about the new Charge 5, @sparkles4.
I've used some of the analog clock faces available, although the vast majority are indeed digital clock faces. With the analog options, you can certainly tap in the middle of the screen to see the different stats like, steps, calories, heart rate, distance. Depending on the clock face option, you can get more or less of these stats on the screen.
Regarding the interaction with the display, the Charge 5 is very responsive and this device has a color AMOLED touchscreen, which is two times brighter than the Fitbit Charge 4's screen. In addition ,you can find more information about this product, on the User Manual and the Fitbit Store.
