I bought a Fitbit charge 5 yesterday and have had some insane battery drainage.
charged it full yesterday at 20:00 (8pm) while updating and activating the watch with the app and have worn it since. Time is now 13:00 (1pm) the day after.
And the battery is now at 31% (!!!)
Have dynamic GPS set but have not used any workout yet so that shouldn't matter.
Have the screen set to manual wake.
Using the lowest brightness setting.

My fitbit charge 3 and Sense usually lasted 5-6days wit the same type of usage.
Have i recived a faulty watch or is it some "first day background updates"?

I’m having the same issue! Says it should last 3-5 days, mine only lasts a day!

For me it got better after 2 days. I am currently at 58% after 1.5 days. However, I am not yet convinced and consider returning it. I still own the Luxe and the battery lasts almost a whole week.
