New readiness score

Please bring back the calculations from the old readiness score that included activity measures.  With the change in September 2024, the new score keeps telling me that my readiness is good or high even though my activity the previous day was extremely intense.

It's even worse!  For the past two days, I have got "No Score" for daily readiness.  Also the graph that used to appear showing the zone minutes for the previous week have vanished in this new update.  Why is it that most apps these days go backwards when they do updates?

It also seems that the active minute recommendation is missing with the new readiness info.

Hello @DLfitness & @NewAusUser

This page explains the changes in the Daily readiness score (<-- click link).

As you noted, the Fitbit app no longer has an Active Minute recommendation.

I'm having the same issue - since the 'upgrade' to make it part of the free package rather than premium, I haven't had a single readiness score even though I wear my Charge 6 all the time

Hello @AcidicMelody

As you can see from the help page, the updated algorithm for the daily readiness score uses information from our sleep data to calculate the score.

I've seen other users report that they haven't seen their daily readiness score despite wearing their Fitbits for 7+ days. I seem to recall that it took more than 7 days for my updated Readiness score to show.

Make sure you're wearing your Fitbit at night and see your sleep data the following day as well as resting heart rate. Your new readiness score should appear when the algorithm has acquired enough data to do the necessary calculations.

Thanks. I finally got a score on day 7 after the update, but nothing on day 8 or 9. Seems other users are reporting similar issues but mods just point to the help page which is... Less than helpful.

Hello @AcidicMelody

Thank you for letting us know that you got a Readiness score once, but haven't gotten one since.

Unfortunately, I can't think of any other troubleshooting to suggest. I know there have been multiple issues with the recent app updates and that the team is working on fixing all the problems.

I'm hoping that as the algorithm keep getting more of your data, it will start consistently generating your Readiness score.

I've only got three scores in the past 8 days; and those I got are a lot lower than what I used to get previously
