The heart rate monitor on my charge 5 works beautifully while resting or not doing much, but as soon as I start exercising it’s way out.
I have tried restarting it Sever times but it’s the same.
I assume it’s something wrong with this particular device, so I’ve been trying to contact customer support, as they have been pretty good in the past with other issues and on one occasion they even swapped my charge 4 for a new one, but now there appears to be no customer support at all, just ask on the Fitbit community blog.
Any ideas as to what to do?
I have been a Fitbit user since 2015 and have been quite happy, but I’m seriously thinking of changing to another brand of smartwatch, they are nowhere near as expensive and probably going to work better, and I’m sure they will have a customer support and/or technical service that works.

when there is someone available, chat is an option. Phone or Twitter works well, too.

Thank you very much.
Any advice on the heart rate monitor making very incorrect readings?
