Not Made To Last, and New Order Delivery Keeps Getting Pushed Back

Got a new FitBit Charge 4 and Premium App 2-years ago. The tracker died (battery failure) in just a little over 1.5 years. After some research, I now understand a FitBit’s normal serviceable life is about 2 years, mine did not make it that far. I placed an order for a Charge 5 (Black/Graphite Stainless Steel) on 8/6/2023. I received order confirmation, FitBit was supposed to ship on 8/11/23, with 5 to 7 bus day delivery. I checked my order status on 8/11, now showing on backorder. Ships on 8/25/23. Checked order status again on 8/23, now pushed back even further, ships 9/1/2023.

I'm never buying another Fitbit for the very reason you cited above. They don't last.

Same issue for me.  I ordered my replacement on August 10th.  The expected ship date is now September 29.  Not sure I want one now.

I just ordered an Apple Watch. I'm done with Fitbit. They're not getting another dime out of me.

My Charge 5 lasted about 2 years. It's BS. I'm not buying another one.

I ordered on 8/5 with the same promised ship date of 8/11. Then with no warning slipped to 8/29. Then it was listed as backordered with no ship date. No notifications from Fitbit at all. I canceled that order and placed a new one for a different color on 9/4 with a backorder ship date of 9/29. Checked yesterday and my order status showed 'in Stock' - yay! But checked today and shows backordered with a ship date of 10/29. I will cancel and leave Fitbit forever as a very longtime customer (still using a Fitbit One which is now unreliable). Have to get them to take back the Charge5 pocket case which of course shipped immediately...Did you ever get your order delivered?

I received an email on September 1st that my Charge 5 order was on backorder with an expected ship date of 9/29.  Then 5 days later I received an email saying my Charge 5 had shipped.  It arrived on Monday 9/11.  I've not activated it ... still not sure if I'm going to keep it.

I ordered a Charge 5 on July 7 with the same early August ship date indicated by others. I've received an email from Fitbit every month since then delaying the shipment, for unknown reasons, with no new date. It's been three months! Customer support is useless, and they don't even do customer support by email anymore. I found the same Charge 5 available at Target, but it'll be $50 more than what I paid with a promo from the Fitbit site in July. Got my watchbands right away, of course. So frustrating!
