I have not been able to get text messages on my Fit Bit, I now have a new Charge 5 and it is still not working. I have a newer Google phone, is this the reason/

I am having the same issue brand new out of the box today same issue when receiving calls everything is turned on very annoying.

Check that the do not disturb mode and sleep mode are both turned off then it should work I have just done this on mine and now I get incoming calls and text messages.
