Optical heart rate sensor all of a sudden stopped working.  Device is about one year old purchased in November 2021 already tried fixes such as deleting the device on the app and reinstalling. Firmware is up-to-date what next?

Have you checked Settings to make sure Heart Rate is not turned off?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Yes and battery won’t hold charge more than 6 hrs

I had the same problem Charge 5 had for a few years without issue then loaded the device update and the green light and HR stopped working FitBit sent a new replacement but as soon as I loaded the update the lights wont come on so no HR is this very common? I have tried resetting and restarting many times
