Hi All,
I have been using fitbit for close to 5 years now, used various versions. When charge 5 was released, I bought it thinking it is going to a better product. But, I was disappointment from day 1. Lot of good features have been removed. On top, sleep tracking doesnt work properly, activities dont get detected well, steps are calculated incorrectly and so on.
Today I got a chance to see if my tracker is even doing one thing right which is tracking the heart rate accurately. And I should have known, it was not. My my heart rate monitor showed me a BPM of 125, my fitbit was showing 105. And when i stopped my work out my heart rate monitor went down to 86 and fitbit was still showing 105.
Now I am beginning to question what is the purpose of this product. I am not worried about the money I spent to buy this but if it is showing wrong statistics, this is actually a dangerous thing. I can't rely on it anymore. Yes, I tried restarting, factory restore and everything other thing available to make it work well, but nothing worked. Either I have a defective piece or the product itself is...........
I would not recommend relying on this product alone. I wish you all the best as I am going to stop using my fitbit from today.
