Going into my third day with a Charge 5 so we're still very much in the learning stage.
FYI, I have been wearing a zip for years. Great tracker, but at some point, they're going to be hard to find and there were some things I like about the charge.
Here a couple of questions I have early on.
Heart rate: Note: I also carry a finger clip device (heart rate/02) with me to check my numbers. I am 58 years old and suffered a major heart attack in 2015. I don't run, but try to walk 6-7 miles per day at between 3.4-3.8 mph. My average mile is probably 16:15 to 16:30.
When I check my heart rate at the end of a walk, the charge will often be between 110 and 125 bpm range while the finger clip is 80 and 90. Sometimes, I'll have two finger clips and they're readings are almost always identical, so I trust them.
Sleep: This is the first time I have tried a sleep tracker. Both nights, I am a night person, I went to bed about 6 a.m. and got out of bed about eight hours later.
On the two nights, the tracker credited with me with sleeping between 10:51.a.m.-1:51 p.m. (day one) and 10:02- and 2:33 p.m. (day 2).
To note, I have always been a light sleeper and tend to roll around over the course of the night. It also is not uncommon to make a couple of bathroom visits during this time.
I am just adjusting to the Charge. (Not being a watch wearer, it took me a long time to think about wearing a wrist-based tracker). That, however, has not really been an issue over the first few days.
Any input you can offer would be appreciated.
