according to my charge 5 (and my charge 4 before it) my breathing rate has reliably been between 14 and 19 breaths per minute for the last several years...until last night. This morning it said I was breathing at 8 breaths per minute. There was nothing remarkable about last night and I am in my normal state of health, so obviously an error. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this just a weird glitch or is this a sign of something off with my fitbit? It has already lost the GPS functionality and had some other issues--maybe this is the next thing to go.

Hello, @dz1234 Welcome back to the community, it is nice to see you around.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation with the breathing feature from your Health Metrics in your Charge 5. Several factors can affect your breathing rate, including weight, lung and heart conditions, anxiety, and fever, so this depends on how you are at the moment, just to clarify, I am not mentioning you have one of these but these are just some examples of what it may impact the breathing feature.
My best recommendation would be to try restarting the device and make sure to wear your device correctly, to make sure this functionality will not have any inconvenience to track breathing.
Thanks for your efforts!
