Remove unwanted notifications and screen brightness

I've had Charge 2, 3 and 4 watches and hate the spammy notifications for things that I don't care about, like steps and move minutes. Will we be able to remove them? In fact, is there any fitbit model that allows the user to remove them?

Will the notification for running or swimming goal be stronger than in the charge 4? I stopped using goals for this because the notification is too weak to notice and I still have to look at the watch.

Is the new screen easily readable under the sun and in bright natural light conditions?, The Charge 4 screen in these conditions cannot be read at all, it is like if it was not on.

Thanks!

The marketing for Charge 5 clearly highlights the increased "brightness/visibility" of the Charge 4, so I think it's likely that Fitbit has improved this issue.

That's just a promise, not a fact.

Yep.....I’m going to wait for some real world results before I decide.   My Alta HR has served me nicely but sunlight readability is no good, is a must have for me for my next version.

True...the validity of Fitbit promises or marketing can be questionable. I still find it appalling marketing ethics that in the same sentence they claim to be "debuting" a new feature, they also admit that it's actually "coming soon". I don't think they understand what "debut" means...

I'm waiting for actual customer feedback first too. Besides the readability in sunlight, I will wait to see if the GPS accuracy and connectivity have been improved (I doubt it) and to find out if it's still the easily breakable plastic connection to hold the device to the strap (highly likely). The Charge 4 was my first real disappointment with the reality between the "promises/marketing" and the device itself.

I feel you. GPS on 4 drained battery WITH the phone right by it, ignoring preference to use the phone when available. I had to deactivate it completely.
