I bought a charge 5 two weeks ago - got it home only to find it wouldn’t sync properly, settings like always on would not remain set - the screen would awake every 4 or 5th tap. I returned it, and to Fitbit’s credit, they replaced the the device - but guess what?? - the replacement is doing it all over again. I am over it - back to Charge 4 .
